Hi all...Happy New Year. Found this several weeks ago. Its heavy...maybe steel(rang up as 92 on At Pro)? I should have put something in picture for scale but its about the size and thickness of an old Zippo lighter. (slightly bigger). Anyone have any idea what it is? Found at an old town park. Thanks!

In The 1st & second shot it looks like a log splitting wedge.

Is it wedge-shaped? Maybe it's a wedge used to tighten up an axe handle or something similar

Its wedged shaped yes but it had these circular grooves on both sides...they most likely relate to purpose

It's the center wedge of a cable clamp similar to this...
