I saw a half dollar size coin at a bank today that had male two heads on it...one on each side. No wording and the sides around the heads were light greenish gold colored while the thick rim looked like silver. I'm going back Saturday and I'll try to get a picture of it if it's still there. Any ideas or can someone point me to some pictures.
Thanks,
Sonny01

kinda vague, picture will help but there are alot of commerative coins with 2 heads on them but I am unsure af any coins meant for circulation. Also there are some gag peace dollars out there usually referred to as magicians coins or two-face coins as in the villian from batman comics and movies in fact the actor used a two faced peace dollar in the movie.

It didn't look new...the heads were silver with a greenish gold flat 1/4" band around it that went from the edge of the rim in to the head if that helps any.

Sorry...no...it had 1 big head right in the middle on both sides.

No words which is weird. The head was facing right and was just a head...no collar or shirt.

Whenever I see an unusual coin, token, etc. in a cash register at any store, I offer to buy it.
I always look at the coin space at the end of the till.
Cashiers will always throw oddities off to the side by themselves.

I've gotten a lot of goodies this way.

Best,

Scott
