Mystery Coin

[Silverhawk]

Anybody know what this is? Found in Alabama around 6" deep. It is about the size of a quarter. Other side is worn smooth.

It appears to be Napoleon III during the 1860s

I did not find it, my girlfriend's father sent her a pic. He found it today with a cheap machine that rang up 'coin' only.

The 2 Francs is Silver.

I was looking at some of the Napoleon coins...they definitely look very similar. I can't seem to find an exact match though, none of the noses or mouths look exactly the same as this coin.

There's a bump on the back of Napoleons III neck on his coin. That's the head band that's on the coin just very worn. The Belgian coin doesn't have it.
