Mystery Coin, Even Stack's don't know what it is

http://s293.photobucket.com/albums/mm41/jsehoule/Coin/

The above link is my photobucket. On one side. It is obvious that there is XII. On the other side. It looks like the coin was missed stamped, but in a smaller size. There is another XII. People have said they can't read the coin. What you see in the pic, is the coin. The stamps are a little fuzzy because I scanned the coin. But I can say there is nothing else showing up on the coin. Except these 2 stamps. I have email this coin to many people. And no one has a clue. Except that it could be spanish. It came up on a Minelab SE as silver. And it does seem like a low grade silver. And after looking at some British Hog Coins that are part silver. They look like this one. It is about the size of a quarter. At first when I saw the XII in the ground and the size of the coin. I thought I was going to have a NE 12 Pence Shilling. One went for auction recently for $414,000. Any thoughts would be nice. And if you have magic to bring back a $400,000 coin into this one. Please do. HAHA
Thanks

They kind of look like the coin I have. But the Roman coins seem thicker and the stamp is square. Mine is round. Thanks for the thought.

If you scroll down there are a few round types. I have also seen a couple myself.

I believe that the "XII" coin shown in the photos at your link may be a 17th century Spanish 12 maravedis countermark. Compare it to the coin shown on the right at:

looks like one I dug a few years back.......

It took me over 1 year to get a positive ID as a Spanish 12 maravedis.Nice find! :coffee2:
One side shows the X11,the other side I can see a V1 with a crown on top of it,next theres an upside V with 3 dots. From what I have gathered from the net it maybe a 1513 emergency issue coin crudely stuck.
