I've found quite a few of those buttons at an old high school....fairly modern blazer buttons.

Your button is a modern era "sportman's jacket" button which shows the logo of the Royal Black Heath Golfing Club in Scotland. It is a very common sports-coat/jacket/blazer buttton, as proven by the many times it has been posted for identification here in the What-Is-It? forum. There are several minor variations, some have a raised rim and some don't. Here's a photo of a rimless one, similar to yours, dug and posted for ID here by T-Net member Kiesersousarip.
