Mystery brass tag

Spent several hours hunting new places with basically nothing to show except for this tag....not sure what VTS means. 🤔.
Some days are diamonds, some days a stone. But at least I didn't get skunked lol😁 thanks for looking, CHEERS!

At first I thought it was a dog tag (not the US Military; a tag for a dog) but VTS is "Vehicle & Travel Service."
