✅ SOLVED mystery black wooden thing

I have had these for years, they were in granddad's toiletries bag along with razors, a razor blade sharpener, talcum etc. That might or might not be a clue... everything else in the leather bag was shaving related.

There were about 5 or 6 of these, they are 7 inches long, curved, have an elliptical cross shape and are made of black wood. Black like a piano key. One of them was very worn and rounded on both ends and had a texture like it had been burned.

This kit would have been from the 1920's or 30's.

Yeah, Charlie is dead on, those are ebony musical bones. (there is an "official" name for them, but I forget it)

Ozarks would be prime likely. They predate "spoons" and have a better sound.
