Mystery Objects front.webpMystery Objects back.webpHello,

This is my very first post. I was so happy to stumble across this forum. It's full of people smarter than I who might help me figure out what these objects are!

I work at a bank in a very old building, over 100 years old, and we find odd things all the time. But this one really stumped us!
We have 5 metal objects, all about the same shape but with slight differences on the jagged bottoms.

They each have a number etched in the front, we have 1, 2, and upside down 3, 4, and 7.
They are about one inch long and about .5 inch wide, with a prong.
Maybe 1mm thick, made of a bronzy metal.

Does anyone recognize these? My coworkers have guessed everything from pieces of a lock, to vacuum parts. haha

Thanks in advance! :)

I think they are a part of a switch and these are worn out or damaged parts that have been discarded. The little arm reminds me of a turn signal switch inside a steering column (just under the steering wheel) on a motor vehicle.
Could very well be the counting part of a coin counting machine.

Some kind of lock tumblers. Maybe for the cash drawers...? :dontknow:

I guess they are called levers, not tumblers. These are a little closer - from a vintage mortise lock.

Yup, they probably lost the key at one time and had to drill out the lock.
