Just tidying up some blasts from the past (including some very ancient ones), largely for the benefit of anyone searching the site for information.

That’s an Iranian ‘good luck’ token and probably from the 1950s or 1960s or possibly a bit later. It says “mubarak bad”, which is a Persian phrase, literally meaning "blessed wind" but has the general meaning of bringing good fortune. These were made for occasions such as weddings, and celebration of the Nowruz holiday marking the start of the Iranian New Year (typically lasting for 13 days from 20th or 21st March).
