I found this while walking on a private beach near Pirates Cove in Grapeview, WA at low tide. I first noticed the shape and that it was really heavy. The other half was close by. A magnet does stick on it. The ends have an odd shape, like it fit into something else. It was next to a huge rock that is over 6 ft tall and wide. Any idea's on what it might be? I know that long ago the settlers did fishing and logging and there were small ferry boats that traveled the area. Thank you.

Neat find. Rope stanchion? Too shallow for an oarlock? Could a removable tiller have fit in the cup?
Afraid I only threw more questions at you.

I've seen this before. It's ejected fecal matter from a ufo/uap. They tend to be quite rude that way....................Sorry dear I'm clueless, as per my usual state.
