My Yard Finds

I've been chopping roots at my place after removing a sycamore tree. I noticed a dime that was under a root and picked it up. It was a 1942 Mercury dime. I got the detector out and started working the yard. I found the following:
1942 Merc dime
1942 D Merc dime
1944 Merc dime
1952 rosie
1964 rosie
No date buffalo
many wheats and other coins plus a toy.

So it took you finding a merc while working on a tree to convince yourself to detect your own yard? Isn't that the first place people test out their machines...

What is the date of your house? Older coins could be there.....might have to "resod" the yard......good excuse for removing the first foot or two of dirt, I would think.

long story- Bought the house but have been working 12 hr days. no time to hunt it. Laid Off now!

Town was Built in the 1940's. yard doesn't have any grass now. Has moss because of the trees. Need to add dirt and grass.

How many more trees ya got? Love them all, especially the "Matchbox". Had them when I was young, was too old, or at least thought so at the time, for "Hot Wheels"
