My worst day this year...

This is a solo post of hunting 5 fields which are now low on the list. Only did 4.5 hours today but I just couldn't get over anything good.
Fell back to the No.1 Roman Site & just managed a small section of a Roman Fibula (Catchplate).

Can't win them all, tomorrows another day etc...

Funniest story of the day was me running & trying to jump a ditch but ending up in it after tripping on some brambles. Full on dive with spade & detector. I'm banged up but at least the Detector is fine.

Still all in all you found something. Know a little about jumping ditches and/or small streams. Ended up in the middle of the stream which was thought to be about ankle deep, ended up being chest deep. Good luck and Happy Hunting...........

Jumped many ditches but its the first superman impression I have done.

As a fisherman, I've been in the rivers/lakes a couple of times...lol

I WOULD BE HAPPY WITH THOSE FINDS ANY DAY , I WENT OUT IN THE YARD AND DID A LITTTLE I MEAN VERY, VERY LITTLE DIGGING BECAUSE THE GROUND IS SO HARD AND , FOR ALL THE PROBING AND CHIPPING , ALL THAT IT TURNED TO BE WAS A RARE PEICE OF CANSLAW JEWELRY. THATS SOME NEAT RELICS YOU HAVE THERE.
