I had permission on an older house, the lady who owns it said it was 100 years old. Looking at it I would say it's 1840's / 1860's. I put in about 2 1/2 hrs. Cleared out a lot of junk and dug a couple keepers. First one was an 1887 Indian, and then a no date Buffalo. I would have stayed longer, but the mosquitos finally drove me out. Stopped at my daughters house where I found the Masonic token, and found a couple wheats and an Uncle Sam play nickel. I hit the beach, which I normally don't do and found the pair of earrings,a couple feet from each other. I thought they were silver, but they are only plated.
