Saturday I worked so I only managed 2 hours at the wooded park I have been hunting ! I found the cap gun , The small Murphy Brothers , Drug bottle Portland Maine. Two early Wheaties , 1909. 1910, and the costume jewelry necklace piece , No marks on this heavy cast piece . Today I checked out two new potential sites, Both were a bust with nothing but a little clad at each site so with 3 hours hunting time left I headed to the Large 1790's house with barn site I explored a couple of weekends ago and had found a couple early buckle pieces The first good target at this site was the badly corroded 1863 fatty. This got my attention and I bore down on this site and managed a few more good digs there , The childs toy police badge, a watch , The Early federal militia button and the 1819 Matron head large cent in poor condition The button appears to be an Albert's GI61, Eagle with shield, 16 stars . except my back mark is TREBLE GILT STANDd COLUOR not the RICH QUALITY LONDON backmark. Despite what the soil did to the Fattie and the Matron head the button made it out of the ground with a little gilt left on it ! Thanks for looking ! MaineRelic
