A great start and my compliments on seeking your own spots!

Good work, not small at all. I have a bunch smaller than that.

having something is much better than having nothing at all! Musta been someone famous or infamous that thought that one up. Save up all as they add up over time................63bkpkr

Congrats! Looks like your sluice is doing good! Do some research on new areas and go explore a little. Pick a spot on the map and try it out. ;)

Is it my screen or are those silver in color?

A few of them look a lot like mica to me.

Yeah I see that too. Could be mercury coated. Although if people told him the place didn't have gold I'm guessing it didn't have much of a mining background.. Could be mica. Don't think I've ever found mica before is it breakable? Golden put it back in your pan and press on the flakes with some tweezers. If they don't break it's most likely gold.

Small flakes have to come from somewhere...Hint, hint... Keep looking. Congrats on your find.

it is the angle and flash of my camera that makes the silver look sorry bout that but i am 100% sure it is gold
