It was an awesome day at Fall River Mass. with Tnet members Jeff in Mass upstate Ed and myself we hunted for 9 hours pulling many old coins coppers didn’t turn out good because of the soil and very hard to dig with all the stone. I scored two Barbers two IH’s a nice V nickel 6 wheats cents two clay marbles my best find was this ship’s wheel and a anchor pendant witch was very deep something was in the center maybe a picture of someone my buddy Ed got a nice flying eagle cent that he will post. At the end of the day Jeff invites us to dinner for an awesome Portuguese steak dinner thank you Jeff for your hospitality and your invite to the park and I thank my buddy Ed for all of the driving we had a great time... You would think it would have been pounded, congrats.
And you didn't ask to go to Nauset beach to watch seal predation by the great whites?

Looks & sounds like a awesome day, that's some nice digs, really nice pendant, congrats on all & HH

Nice finds! :occasion14: You were hunting not to far from me! :headbang:

Congratulations on a great outing - and super finds!:hello2:

It was an absolute blast my friend, and I'm glad you guys scores so many oldies. Let's shorten the time between now and the next time we hunt. Keep kickin butt until then!

it has been pounded but the Equinox sniffed them out both silver coins had a iron in the hole ..

My mom was from Fall River, remember the area well. I always get a chill when I read "Fall River" anywhere, remembering the childhood ditty "Lizzie Borden took an axe, and gave her mother forty whacks; when she saw what she had done, she gave her father forty-one."

Congrats on those nice finds!

That’s a great day in my book. Out with friends, some excellent saves and sitting back having a great meal together. Congrats to you and your good fiends.

Great finds! My mom lives in fall river and I go down there sometimes to visit. I've never had the time detect but I would like to get out hunting down there someday! Congrats and thanks for sharing!

Nice hunt! Caldeiras is my favorite for Portuguese steak. I am guessing you ate at Acedemica??

Caravela nice place 40 minute wait to get in place was packed..

Up by Kennedy Park. I haven't been to Caravela in a couple of years, but good eats for sure. Funny, I've lived in Fall River 35 years and never once hunted a park. Too much work :). I give you park hunters a lot of credit having to deal with all that modern trash :icon_salut:. You'll find me in the woods at the colonial sites where it's either iron or a good target.

Looks like a great time was had by all. Well done.

Coins and marbles, yeah, I like it.

Looks like it was a great day all around, from the start of the hunt with friends, to the meal afterwards. Congrats to all of you on your finds. Finding a pair of Barbers in one outing would be a real nice day.

Great hunt and a shining example of what T-Net is about, Friends, Finds and Food!!!
