My Till Finds and a PROOF????

Attached are two photos of my weeks finds...except for Fri, Sat and Sun when I was in the freezing cold with my sons' at their 2007 Camporee at Blackstone!!! Brrrrrrrrrr!

Last night was a real kicker for me. I believe I found a PROOF 1984S Nickel. The outside area (background) is very very shiney and the face and building have almost like a frost look to it. Could this be a proof that some kid got from their parents coin collection? Wish I could locate the other pieces of the set!!!

The only reason I suspect this to be a proof...as I had no idea what to look for when I read about folks finding proofs...was when I visited my local coin shop a couple of weeks ago and saw the proofs they had and how absolutely beautiful looking they are!!! I saw a few sets I intend to buy for my kids and if they spend them....OMG....they better watch out for MOM!!!

So, overall...not a bad week for me, even though I lost 3 TILL Days!!

Sure do love this TILL HUNTING!!!!

Looks like a proof to me The S mint produced a lot of the modern proofs too, so I'm willing to bet it is a proof.

1984-S Nickel was only issued as Proof, so yes this is a Proof.

dont be quick to buy a proof set from a coin shop they are in it for the money and you want to make sure you get a good deal.
i have picked up a few proof sets on ebay pretty cheap
