Im talkin bout my coil!!! Bunch of sickos! I just got a 12 inch coil fer my compass, also just finished a mod on my machine so I can manualy ballance it! I took it out fer a bit today & still need to play with it a lil' before Im totaly comfortable, but I was impressed! I thought pinpointing would be a bit more difficult with this "dinner plate" of a coil but I was diggin pennies dead on at 6-8 inches. It is heavy & my arm is a bit sore but I'll manage...........I plan on huntin a lot of farms & homesteads this year so Im sure this machine/coil will do well fer me! Id like to thank a TN member fer setting me up with this machine/mod/coil but am unsure if he wants to be identified, so...........Thanks dude! You know who you are!!!

A guy here in NY will build you a coil up to 19-1/2" using vacuum forming equipment and a horizontal jigsaw to finish them flat that he designed and built himself. This is a 14" DD.

If you need to detect a refrigerator buried 20 feet deep, say.
