My take for the day

Hi folks, spent the morning at an old house site and didn't find much. Found some pocket watch parts, a 1944 wheat penny that has been shot and lots of junk. We left there about lunch time and stopped by one of our CW sites that we have been pounding for a few years. Finds are getting harder to come by here but I did ok. Found a nice flat button, some camp lead and the best find of the day for me was this carved bullet. I don't think the soilder was trying to make anything specific but was just widdlin. You have to wonder what was going through his mind while doing this and if he made it home. I love finding carved lead! Thanks for looking.

Congrats on that carved bullet rn, I often wonder if they were making chess pieces? That might be the knight you found.

I have some that look like Chess pecise and many other things. It could be.
