Hunted a new site today . It was a pretty big foundation site right next to a main road with just a small amount of undeveloped land around the foundation . I was told The original circa late 1700's house with attatched out buildings burned in the 1940s. Most of the site is pretty much lost to the construction of a shop building and a big raised up gravel parking lot that goes right up to the old foundation . Though there wasn't a lot of original land left to detect I managed to put a few things in my pouch . I am most interested in finding out what the ornate lead mount adorned . Though the copper walnut shell is a interesting find as well . Another crotal bell for the collection is always welcome :icon_sunny: Happy Hunting all ! MaineRelic

Hey MR looks like you had plenty of room, two nice silvers and an Indian. Great job , were you mostly inside or outside the foundation? Goldbill

if ya found that in a tiny area imagine whats lost forever due to progress? :'(

Way to go. MR great silver and Crotal bell  all I got todays hunting was a pouch full of junk but it was great to get out.

Nice saves and I do mean saves MR. The remaining huntable areas of that site could easily be lost forever. HH, Quindy.

I like the key too, as for some reason I have yet to get one.

Crotal bells too always welcome.

Nice hunt! I always like finding old keys, crotal bells, and silver!
