My son has this coin.. and we are trying to figure out some info on it!

HI my son found this coin.. in one of his BULK Purchase collections.. any idea on where it is from??

I have attached the scan of front and back here.. this is the first time I have posted on this forum I hope I am doing this right.

WOW IT SURE DOES LOOK LIKE HIS WIFE! Now.. another big question LOL HE has his coin in a little pill container.. How should he be storing this?? and is it worth some money? I am assuming it is.. regardless he isn't going to part with it that is for sure! Again He is a collector and would love it for ever.

It could be worth anything from .10 cents to 1000's. A coin store near me sells em for $10 and they are all sorts of them and theyve been cleaned. Try searching ebay to see what that one is going for. You may want to try cleaning it with water then applying a coin preserver for copper coins but always check first and if its real valuble contact a porfessional to decide what to do. Coin collecting is a great hobby!

Hmm looks to me like I see the top part of an ear on your coin and I don't think the nose matches the picture but I think I looks like its from the era.

It is a roman coin and you can get them on ebay. They have been finding a lot of them so the value is not that high yet about $2.00 a coin.
As a coin collector the best thing for him to do would be to buy them by the bag full. Cause when they stop finding them the value will go way up.
