I was thinking of making a sluice box classifier and would like to get your input/experience with this method. I have heard from people placing expanded metal over there sluice box and shoveling directly on to it and scraping off the larger material. After seein astrobouncers sluice classifier it got me thinks of one for my sluice. I have a sluice box similar to the a52 but older and no hungarian riffles.
I can scrounge up a road sign and cut it to fit directly into my sluice. It will be about 1" above the riffles. The first half of the flare will have nothing. The second half of the flare will have 1/8" holes. These will be followed by 6" of noles. Lastely there will be 18"-24" of 1/4" holes.
If there is any suggestions it would be appreciated.
