My short trip to a State Park

Some rains finally came and the temps were down just a tad so, to relief my head from beating it on the wall, I returned to nature for a little MDing and went to a near-by State Park that I have visited before. Did I have permission you ask? Yes. On a previous visit I stopped at the ranger office and after asking if I could detect in the park, I explained a bit about my ACE and how I enjoyed the hobby. As I was about to leave the head ranger said, "If you decide to sell your detector, give me a call."

I spent hours swinging the ACE and once it even rained a for a bit but it was day well spent. The coin count didn't set set any records but at least I did find the one 1951 nickel so overall I had no complaints.

This is my first shot at posting pics here so close one eye and give me time . . . I'll learn, I hope, and get better. Here's hoping they even appear. lol

Wow! Miracles do still happen!! lol

The coins are (I forgot to mention) 2 nic, 1 q (1989, 2 d (1967, 1991) and of course the ever present clad pennies (they didn't clean up too bad but they sure do pit bad in a short time).

Now that this worked I'll try to catch up and post some of my earlier finds from when I first started, about 6-7 weeks ago.

First post is good. Wish we could hit are state parks here. I could really turn up some stuff. But the government and everyone else involved are to brutal with the laws. Take advantage of it. Were losing these opportunities as we speak.

Write a letter and ask if its all right to remove trash bottle tops pull taps. ete. when they write back to ok this. carry the letter with you if stopped show the letter. Tell them that the md is used to find trash. Hey it works for me.? Donnie in Aussie land
