So... had to share this. I'm sure we are all guilty of this in some way....
This morning, I stopped and got my coffee and muffin and when I got my change back, there was a state Quarter in it that looked different. It was a Wyoming state quarter with the Bucking Bronco on the back. It was flat as flat can be.... yet the whole coin, including the image was as shiny as a proof.
I sat there looking at it in disbelief. FINALLY! I had found a Die error! I couldn't believe my eyes. How much would it go for? A buck? 10 Bucks? More?
I arrived at work, grabbed the quarter and ran inside. I instantly went online to check the design, just to make sure I wasn't making a mistake..
And.. when I clicked on google images for the Wyoming quarter.... what did I see?
Yep.. the coin in my hand matched perfectly what the design was meant to be. No details. The bucking bronco is meant to be flat with no design. (can you hear the bubble popping from there?)
Dang it all.. sucks to get old! lol
