My Second Treasure Hunt , I'm Learning quickly lol .....

This is my 2nd hunt and I'm learning to pinpoint things better already , it was great fun for sure ! , can anyone tell me what the big round thing is ?? i haven't a clue but it's heavy , came up as a dollar ..... at the rate I'm going I'm going to have quit a collection of cars lol , thanks again everyone for the warm welcome ​

The initial learning curves are painful but when you start geting the keepers, you'll be totally addicted, good luck.

Awesome! Looks like you found atleast a couple of keepers although I have not clue what the round object is that you found....might try putting a pic of it and something for size comparison on the "what is it?" forum...the folks that watch that forum are incredible at figuring out what things are! Keep on digging!!

Many put the detector in the closet after a few tries and never fully enjoy our hobby. The more you learn the better your finds and more success. I've got a ton of toys found with a metal detector over the years. Keep swinging and keep a jar at home handy for your growing finds!!

For some reasone anything quite large and not iron comes up as a dollar on the ace250...But look at it this way. Second time out and you found a car!!!!

Hi Moyfc!

When I first started detecting a few yrs. ago I only found a few coins so...you did well finding a car! Actually, I was pretty happy digging a few coins and junk. I think it was because I was amazed at what the detector could find buried in the ground. After getting a lot of practice digging everything the quality and quantity of my finds increased. So... keep practicing and digging!

Nice car. I have been detecting for about 2 weeks and I found a classic corvette today and a race car last week. I have found change here and there but nothing older than a 56 nickel. I got my Ace 250 yesterday and was out for 8 hours today and found about 2.00 in change. The detector did real well and had a blast. Good luck in your future hunts.
