Took all day to get a piece that wasnt fractured by earth pressure.
Been frustrated all day masking cabs just to break them one by one while trimming away the excess material.

Oh well, i finished it. well almost, still want to put it to a wheel for a high gloss and throw it on Ebay or something.
Got the ring with no stone at the pawn shop, love the Navajo design as does my wife.
Didnt want to let this one go to the scrap so now some woman will cherish it forever.

Ellensburg blue agate from Recer creek area.

The rest of the rings i make from this stone will be small cabs. no more large ones.

anyhow, heres pics of my first agate ring - repurposed.

I had this one done, its in my room but i somehow made it too small so i started over.

with flash

on my wifes finger next to the agate ring i had made awhile back.

I know its not perfect, i will get better some day with better equipment.

Grats! - you've done in a couple days what took me months to learn taking lapidary classes at my local rock club with certified teachers. You should be very proud! :occasion14:
