Got out for a short hunt today but ground was frozen for the most part. Decided to work on a display for my interesting finds (other than rings and coins.) Some of these items I have posted before, some I haven't.
Got a cheap display case from ebay.
A couple of silver plated spoons. I have about 3 or 4 others but these 2 are in the best shape.
The only 2 decent buttons I have found so far. I really like the SPU button. Southern Public Utilities Company, which operated trolley lines in Charlotte and Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and in Anderson and Greenville, South Carolina, beginning in 1913.
An old cuff link of what I believe is a man fly fishing.
A token for a local jewelry store that was around in the 1920's.
Blue Bird Cab is a local company that has been around since 1928. I don't know how old the emblem is but I thought it was pretty cool.
A Chrysler key, pocket knife, 2 dog tags (54 & 62), old key and a lead boxing glove.
I believe this is a dagger handle (Unknown age) and a little lead figure.
I am still looking for my first Civil war item.
Thanks for looking.
