Early this spring we decided it was time to replace the concrete patio between the house and garage. We wound up finding 2 different layers of patio and an old stone foundation buried under everything. Needless to say between the excavating and regrading the yard and knowing my place dates to 1850, I was really excited to swing a coil over everything. Turns out I wasn't disappointed.

1905 IH
1892 & 1896 V Nickels
Silver Rosie's and a Merc
25 Wheats
Some really sweet marbles
A baby spoon
And all the other stuff in the pics

Looks like good times.
Nice finds.

Looks like it was worth the effort !! :occasion14:

That's awesome. They're all in good shape from being protected from the elements

Very nice coins. Congrats. That IHC looks to have nice details! Good show.

Very nice ..... funny to say it but a marble find is on my bucket list

Way too cool! I would frame those goodies and proudly display them IN the house. Congrats! Sub 8-)

:laughing7: Makes me want to rip up my patio :laughing7: That's a super group of finds and think of all the gas money you saved:laughing7:

you should leave a few zincs for the next fellow to find in a hundred years:thumbsup:

Great job...knock down the garage next...lol but seriously nice haul!

Nice. Was there any doubt you would hunt that before allowing the work to finish? I like finding marbles too, never really into them as a kid but I've found 20 or so digging stuff all over my yard. Even learned what "Bennington" marbles are, got six small and a shooter of those. Learning about what we find is almost as fun as finding it.

now that's cool!!, look at all that great stuff lurking under your patio!, very cool!!

Great detail on that V nickle! Usually they're worn out beyond recognition.

They would only be dust in the wind in a hundred years from now. :)

It's always cool finding something on ones own property, makes the find a little more special. Congrats on the finds and best of luck on finding more as you explore the property.
