The color is a little off but still a good job. I liked the other one better, you got the color dead on on it. Keep practicing and you will have some beautiful repaired points. :icon_thumright:
 

What are you using for your restoration? People have told me different things they have tried, but I worry I might do something that I can't undo if I screw it up.

Suggestions range from bondo/body filler to wood putty and elmer's glue.

I saw the other one you did and didn't even realize you had already restored it, I had to look very close to see the repairs.

Drywall mud in the powder form. I mix it to the right consistency and apply it a little larger than I need. After it dries I used an modeling knife to carve it into shape. It will break off when you get it close and then I use a little Elmers school glue to hold it on. A cheap paint by numbers set will usually give you a close match on the color, even if you have to mix them. Thanks for asking!!
 

Try jb weld and then carve it. We tried it years ago. I sucked and gave up on it. Broke is broke :help:
