Great looking goat. I had a '66, 389, 3-2bbl manifold, 4 speed. Fast, fun and a wonderful memory...Enjoy it.

Beautiful car, can't wait to get started on one. I need to build my house and garage first.

I had a '67 Mustang. Wish I had THAT ONE again! TTC

Now that's one car I'd love to help rebuild, good luck and keep us informed:icon_thumleft:

Well, it's home, for the time being. We took my buddy's 57 Chevy to the shop this morning and brought mine home. It still needs to be buffed out and then it will have a nice shine to it. Next stop is the interior shop in about a month.

What a beauty! Good choice on the colour too! Post more pics, please!

Thanks for the compliments. I will post some more pictures next week when I get some more done to the car.

I haven't done much to the car but I did get the rear bumper back on so from the back it's looking more like a car. i am waiting on some parts so I can put the front end back on. Then, it will be going to the uphostery shop the first week in September. I hope to have it home by mid October.

Well, it's been more than a week but I am getting closer to a finished car. The paint has been color sanded and buffed, the new top is installed and the interior is 95% done. I still have to put the front end back on and get a few more things accomplished but it shouldn't be much longer, maybe two or three months. What looks like trash on the front fender in the first picture is actually a reflection of some construction work at my neighbor's house.

Your skills and determination are admirable, the GTO is more than stunning, it is priceless. Please post a youtube of the beauty running, just for me:laughing7:

Thanks for all the compliments. I will try to get a new video uploaded soon. There is still work to be done and some mechanicals to attend to but it sure felt good to take her around the block!
