My oldest silver find yet!

My oldest coin recovery to date and also a first. Looks to be 1737 Spanish pistareen. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong!

It's Spanish silver alright, but not a pistareen.. Pistareens were minted in Spain and are a 2 reales coin.. Yours in a Pillar style minted in one of Spain's New World mints, most likely Mexico City, but I can't see the mint mark to tell for sure. Also I can't tell the denomination without something for size reference. What US coin is closest to the diameter of your coin?

The mintmark is just to the left of the date.

The mintmark, as shown in pic #1, appears to be a "G" for Guatemala City.
