Blessed to be able to detect on the first day of winter, almost fifty degrees here today. Spotted a sidewalk tear out about thirty feet long got two silver quarters 1896 O and 1953 ,one clad 1990 one newer nickel two wheat pennies, and two memorials. []

My friend I’ve been looking for a barber quarter going on six years I’ve gotten barber dimes I’ve got a barber half and I cannot get that barber quarter to save my soul congratulations you got something that I’ve been looking for for a long time.

It's only my second one, finally found a Barber half a couple of months ago in a field at an old homesite.

Congrats on your oldest Barber Quarter !
Seems like most of the Barber Quarter's that I and other's have found have 1900' dates on them - I would say this due to the increase of the coins minted in later years .

Very nice find! Pretty low mintage, less than 1.5 million and worth a few bucks, plus it's got a really nice color to it- Congrats!
