I have yet to find one- silver dollars are hard to come by, especially out here in Oregon. Great looking coin Twister!

GREAT!!! Would love to find a silver dollar or any dollar!! That is in good shape...Good Hair lines!

You get that in Franklin Twister? Private message your phone number to me, i have unlimited long distance calling here. You can tell me how the detecting is going with your MXT. Pete

Man! I'd freak if I dug one up, can ya imagine the feeling? And I thought my Barber Half was awsome, a Silver Dollar would be soooo awsome! ;)

so is ne one going to ask"were did you find it ,with what detector and how deep etc" insteed of cheering the guys poor eyes out?

I found it at a early 1900's estate house. It was about 6'' down. I found it with a MXT. I cleaned it up the best I could but its still pretty dingy.

thanx i can sleep better knowing this..... ;)

Just curious....at 6" down did it still register in the range of a dollar on the MXT. What mode...VDI #....etc. Excellant find by the way!

At 6" it was still reading about a +88. I pretty much always hunt in relic mode( easier that way for me)

Thanks. I have heard that from a lot of people. What makes it easier? I just got mine and I am trying to learn it but I have only been able to get out with it 4 times or so. Just trying to speed the curve up.

What makes it easier for me is the 2 tone system on relic mode makes it much esier to decipher which to dig or not. This depends also alot on where you have your disc set. If you have it set too high you will only get high tones at high vdi which would leave out much gold but i keep mine between 2 and 3. i dig more trash but dont miss the rings either.
