I have done hours of research on rechargeable lithium batteries. To keep it short....this is why I bought mine:

-Very little shelf life drainage when not being used.
-Last a very long time per charge
-Best feature for me was lithium battery's ability to function in cool/cold temperatures. NiMH rechargeables (even the most expensive) suck in the cold weather. They power drops off very quickly in the cold. I hunt all year round, and sometimes in extreme cold temperatures. With these batteries, I no longer have to attach hot-pacs to my detectors to keep my other rechargeable warm
-To add extra life to the batteries, they can be stored in the refrigerator, (not the freezer). They should not be stored in a hot environment ie - hot car, window sill, heater etc........

At $85.00 you can keep it. :skullflag:

Ain't that the truth! It's got nothing to do with the price!
