My most unique find yet

I was digging at a 1950s dump today and found this. It looked like a common piece of tin foil at first but I picked it up and looked at it. For a few moments I didn't know what I was holding, but I found out it is a metal denture. I think it is silver but if anyone can verify that's what they used to be made of that would be great.

Yes more than likely gold...other precious metals used.

That would be a rare find...I would think.

I found one of those recently. Luckily I know a guy skilled in the "Dental Arts". He lab is in the same building as my office. I am right this minute, going to find it and take it to him for Identifications. I did ask him what it could be, he said Silver was likely out of the question. We shall see.

I just found a similar denture item.

I too would like to know what metal was used.
(Wife called it creepy and wouldn't allow it in house

hmm Lookd like the stuff that gets wrapped around a Spam key
while opening a can, if you unwrap it.

But I would think you would know if that is what it was.

No thankfully it is something better I think but there are plenty of spam keys at the dump I dig at

I just now tested this item and it is real gold! Im not sure of the karat yet but its atleast 18k.
