MY machine or coil is shot

ok I posted a problem I had a a few days ago, and I thought it was caused by dirt / water between coil and cover plate

well today it happened 4 times
and I was able to video tape it

summary
I am detecting, all of sudden I start hearing sound from ground everywhere, and a "1" stays on screen

I test with a quarter and it rings at 0 or 4-5

so noise cancel, ground balance and numbers just decrease and then stay at zero

I turn off machine, start again and it takes 3 try's to get it going normal

the second time it happened, after doing all of the above with no success,

i went into Park One so noise cancel, ground balance and It works, switch to Field 2 so noise cancel, ground balance and It works

3rd time I do all of the above and nothing works, I take off coil cover all is clean, I tested on quarter and it rings at 26-29 all ok

4th time it happens I do all of the above, except this time nothing works and I am stuck with a machine making ground nose all over, ground balance stays at 0 and a quarter rings at 4-5

its either the coil or machine

I have the new 6" coil and will test it for first time tomorrow

that will determine if its the machine

having no luck up loading the videos so you can see whats going on

I pray its me doing something wrong, but it just keeps happening out of the blue

I didn't get through all the videos but just call minelab. Something is obviously wrong. Loose connection in the control box or coil. Get it replaced.

Why isn't anybody using the ground balance tracking? I used it all the time on my minelab 705, and is still using it on my equinox, works great for me. At least I think.

Tried it with new 6" coil worked great first day, I was in a rush had only an hour 6" found things in two heavy nail spots I had gone over with 11" previously about 5-6 times in every setting

second and 3rd day, on a new site never hunted, and an old site only hunted with 11" coil

it was very weak and kept showing 1 and on screen like before

Being shipped off to the sick house, Minilab send UPS LABEL were great to deal with so far
