my latest box of halves

This can't be good news. It seems to me that the coin suppliers can't keep up with the demand of orders, so they're forced to order from the fed. So, now we have a situation where the half circulation is becoming more diluted with undesirable 2001 coins. This will make it even harder to find the silver in the future in my opinion.

Still looking for that box of all 1964's! ;D

Let me guess 1x50 box with yellow wrappers and 5077 marked on the box?

I have had these boxes for the last three weeks.

HH,
65GT350

My very 1st two boxes, marked 5120 and 5142, had 20 rolls of new 1996's.
With 14 of them in the 5142 box.
Only one 40%.
What can a CRHer do when you start getting this boxes of new coins?
I just started CRHing so I'll go threw a few more.

Keep plugging through them and spread the dumps around. Roll your dumps and dump them off in small increments. Banks can't send them back to the coin sorting facility until they have a minimum $500. Dumping $250 forces the bank to sit on them until some road-tripper comes along and buys them or they accumulate enough to send back. With the banks holding the dumps, you can get a supply deeper from the stack. If a supplier continues the trend, then find a different supplier.

Dumping $250 forces the bank to sit on them
Great, better for the dump banks to hold them than me.
The bank, and all of its branches, that I do most of my personal banking with
said they don't order coins.(Period.)
They will never have to I'll supply all the branches with halves. :laughing7:
$250 at a time. I can be just as nice as they are.

My one branch loves me as I supply them with all the cents and dimes that they can handle. Keep in mind that others dumping will quickly negate your efforts of having the bank sit on the dumps.

I would LOVE to get a whole box of 64 kens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep dreaming!!!!! ;D
