It’s got an eagle at the bottom. Was hoping military of some sort…

Just replied in your other post. It's a Sportsman's button. They were very popular in the mid to late 1800s.

Lots of reading and research. Been an artifact hunter since I was old enough to walk with my grandpa. Been into detecting for 3 years now, have 157 large cents so far…
