My last four days have been sweet for jewelry Picture heavy

Friday I found a possible platinum bracelet although in my post I called it 950 silver then on Saturday 2 14k rings and 1 silver ring, didn't hunt on Sunday but eyeballed .37 cents Then today I scored again a Silver 925 Italy chain and an Earring marked 53 or 58 Y with possible Diamond will need to get it checked when I get the possible Plat checked.I showed my junk in the pics also normally I just pitch it, but had some copper I'll keep, sorry long winded today here are the pics.

Here are some better pics of the earring also 1 of the 14k rings on it's new home of my wife's finger and the possible Plat. bracelet also found a home on her wrist.

I looked up 58Y and came up with 14k yellow gold Why not just mark 14k?

It's a Y I just couldn't get a clear pic of it,Definitely strange though.It might be from a Mexican Joyeria (jewelry store) They have some strange markings on the jewelry.

Actually I collect them all in a big jar to give to the Childrens Hospital they get money from the Recycler for treatments for the kids I think they give extra money.

Real quick on the earring. It's going to be plated costume jewelry. If it were 14k or 585, the post would be gold too. Try a magnet on it. It will probably stick. On the gold earrings the post will be gold as well. (This helps when thrift store picking as well)

It wont stick to a magnet, I tested it with my acid it comes up 14k just weirdly marked.
