Nice buckle.

Thanks anyway Sherm. I tried to find one online also with no luck. ???

very cool find. i hope you can find some info on it. it looks old.

Clean it a bit, and that will look good in any presentation case

Trent, it´s about time you got back over here, we´ve got stacks to hunt, and you´re lazing away in the sun over there ;-)

Itngbolt and Joeyp , I think you guys nailed it! I held the buckle right beside the screen and I am pretty sure that is it. Wow ,if it was not so beat up it would be worth a few bucks. :) I am going to put it in a display case. When I found it I did not know what it was.It was bent in half and caked in clay . I put it in the oven and slowly bent it back but I should have paid a professional to do it. It could still be straightened some but I am scared to bend it any more. Thanks again for the ID. Good stuff.

Ray, I should be back over there in a couple of years if all goes well. ;)

Sooner the better Trent, before all the goodies have gone ;-)

I sent an email to the place selling that buckle to try to find out the age of it . I would guess WW1 but it may be late 1800s. Thanks again for the link. :)
