I guess the old saying "Be careful what you ask for" is true. At least we should be specific about our wants. Since Sundays hunt I've been trying to score some Indians. Brett was pulling them up around me
left and right, and I was even walking away from higher deep tones just to try and score one before we left. So yesterday I decided the best way to get one is to go where they've come up before. I went over to a local park where Brett dug his oldest yet. No sooner did I get to the spot and some fellers decided to put up a volleyball net over the area. WTH ! So today after 2 grueling hours at the office, I went back to a park that use to have a couple old home sites on it. Its the same place that I dug the R.M.S. Queen Mary token at. After swinging there for about a hour I headed back to the van, and not 20' away from leaving I dug this 1923 lucky penny. It's lead, and weighs 3.5 oz.--Found in Aurora, the same place it originated from.
Thanks for looking!
