Does it have any markings on it? What kind of wood is it? It looks more home made to me. Danish Modern items are more artistic, but you are on the right track!

Go to google images and type in danish modern and just look at the pictures for about a half hour, pay close attention to the shapes and materials of all the items. Do this a couple of times a week and you will start spotting danish modern stuff or whatever else you are looking for. I use this method on almost every kind of design decor and I also use it to teach myself depression glass patterns.
