I figured it being the 4th of July I would head back to my local Boy Scouts of America camp. My notable finds are three silvers, a 62 quarter, 48 and 43 dimes. About 7 wheat pennies the oldest being a 1927 and some modern clad. Two bsa pins or medals and a Six Flags Great America token. I think its from one of those machines were you put in a penny and it stamps it into a token. I know its not old but the Six Flag token was my favorite find of the day. It says Viper, which is a roller coaster. Did a little research on the Viper to get a rough date on the token and it was built in 1995 and it said it is a mirror image of the Coney Island Cyclone at Coney Island in NYC. The Cyclone was opened on June 26 1927 and has been in operation ever since. Well have a fun and safe 4th everyone! 004.JPG 005.JPG 001.JPG 002.JPG 003.JPG

Great hunt, my favorite is the Webelos fob.

awesome finds, looked like a busy day, especially when you throw in the junk you most likely dug up as well.

Yes the place was just opened to the public a few years ago. Judging from the amount of finds I'm making it has not be hit hard at all. Also I am the kind of person who detects for hours. Pack a lunch and some water and im out in the woods somewhere all day long.
