Went to a old school for about an hours hunt with the SE. Hunted this school before and got nothing but clad and zinc This school was built in 1919 on the same spot of an older school which was built in the 1800's. I talked to a man that lives next door to the school and he said the place has been hunted a lot in the past. I figured I'd dig some more clad and add it to my pile. So I hit a nickel after digging about 10 pulltabs and some canslaw. Nothing special about the nickel, was a 1997P. I started to hunt around some trees and found more pulltabs and no good signals. So I went to the wall of the school and started to follow it.... solid tone and the crosshairs were right in the penny field. Figured it was another newer penny until I turned it over My first wheatie.
