I've been detecting this property for a while now and it just keeps giving up great finds. I wasn't even sure what it was until I got home and cleaned it off and it was a bit bent up but then I could see it was a watch fob my first one. A short time later and about 20' away I dug a watch that was only 2" down I almost didn't dig it because I thought it was junk, it still has part of the name on the face ____ham and some nice scroll work on the back. Sweet finds! I found a watch fob earlier this year... still looking for my first pocket watch. Sounds like you have a great site to hunt.

Great finds! I haven't found a watch fob yet, just several watches. None of my watches had a dial, just the outer rim.

Sweet finds!! Yours looks to me to be a Waltham. Here's a link to get more info if you ever decide to open it up.http://www.nawcc-info.org/walthamdb/LookupSN.asp

Here is also a pic of one that looks like yours. Thanks for sharing!! HH
