I found this forum about a month ago. I hadn't found much in the way of silver until a teller handed me a solid Roll a couple weeks ago. Boxes for me in St Louis have not been very good, usually only one or two NIFC or proofs, or a 40% per box. Mainly doing 2 boxes of halfs a week. But I ordered 10 this week. 4 each from 2 new banks, and 2 from my normal bank. Only found a few from the 8 boxes from the new banks, But when I got down to the 2 boxes from my normal bank, the last box yielded:
1945 Walker
1939 Large Penny
2 1964's
9 40%
18 Proofs- 2x1971 , 2x 1972, 1973, 1980, 3x1981, 3x1982, 1984, 2x1985, 1988, 2005, 2008
33 NIFC - 87D, 7x2002, 2x2003, 8x2004, 3x2005, 8x2006, 2007, 3x2008
Also added 3 More 1974D Double Dies for a Total of 7 for the Month
My Wife opened half of the box and was as excited about the 1939 Large Penny as I was about the Walker
Yesterday she was saying, "halfs are boring", today she is saying "Half's are fun " and was disappointed when the last box ran out.
I'll have to try to get some more hand rolls for her tomorrow.
