My first US Button from War of 1812 Site

Very cool finds today from well hit War of 1812 site, but lucky for me the bulldozers had moved in. I had been there three times and never found anything of note. Was fired up to find this US button (just sent to Don Troiani for more info). Any info appreciated from the readers here (it's bit smaller than a nickel). Also found these three mini balls that could be from same era. And the tick was one of several...

It is an 1820s era pewter militia button. Nice find!
