it was my first hole of the year and was 8 " deep..i did a little happy dance..lol
i also found some modern coins and the brass thingy i think came from a fence post?

Congrats, I love diggin old pock watches, sadly i don't put my coil over too many of them...
I found this one 2 years ago and it is still on my computers desk top.

pocket watches are always a cool find. that one looks like an inexpensive model sold probably in the late 1950's. if you can pry the back cover off, it may have the date of manufacture stamped inside

My first hole either had to be a pull tab or Memorial cent. Could have been can slaw. lol.
