Just started a little over a month ago and found my first silver! From a house built in 1948.

Also found a 1999 dime a few feet from it. Goes to show how much silver is preserved in the ground compared to newer coins.

Didn't take you long! Good work. Many more where that one came from.

Great find! My first silver was a Roosevelt too. I am sure you were as excited as I was. Congrats to you:coffee2:

Great find, Richard. I am thinking you're going to be finding many more in the future. Congratulations!

Congrats! Any silver is exciting to find, looks like Utah has been good to us today, on a short hunt this morning I found a 1958 silver quarter and 2 1920's Wheaties. You ought to save that one for the memories, thanks for sharing.

May you have many more finds like this. Congrats on your first.

Thanks everybody and it did feel good to pull out my first silver. Also found a wheat penny and a 1954 nickel. Only had time to search for about 20 minutes so plan on hitting it all in the next few days.

Nice work, you never forget your first.

Sweet silver !

Congratulations on your first silver. It is an awesome feeling. GL&HH.
