Tenderfoot
Closed the office a little early and went to a park that has given up only clad so far.
I decided to walk the street side of the park. Hit a few clad pennies and dimes and a lot of trash.
All of a sudden the "Yeller Feller" let out a yelp that just didn't sound familiar. I looked at the
upper scale and it kept steady on a Nickel at 4 inches. I pinpointed and dug down but missed. Got my CENTECH
out and found it on the side of my hole. A 1944 S War Nickel, looking just as shiny as the day someone lost it.
I didn't even nick or scratch it. This nickel was no more than 4 feet from the street and just 4 inches down.
Found only clad and trash the rest of the hunt, but the Silver Drought is Over
As I was in the middle of my HAPPY DANCE I noticed a few people staring, but hey it was my first silver.
